Scope

The Graduate Program in Animal Science contemplates several subareas of knowledge and is formed by professors and researchers who seek to understand the phenomena that interfere in the animal production and its applications in the great area of Animal Science. The program is composed of professors and researchers with specialties in the areas of nutrition and production of ruminants and non-ruminants, aquaculture, genetics and animal breeding, molecular biology, experimental design, animal physiology and reproduction, forage production and conservation, and economic evaluation of livestock systems.

 

Aim

The Graduate Program in Animal Science aims to qualify professors, formation of researchers and high-level professionals in the different branches of Animal Production sub-areas, as well as the production of knowledge for professionals in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy and related areas.
